Who is this guy?

I am a mental health therapist, a husband, and a father to a beautiful adopted Southern baby girl and the most handsome Dachshund-Mix that has ever existed (I apologize to other Dachshund-Mix parents in advance). Go Easy on Me is my first novel.

If someone asked what kind of stories I write, I’d say, “Stories with heart—whether they’re about piecing one back together or tearing one out. Figuratively, of course.” I tend to gravitate toward characters who are selfless but make mistakes, are good but tortured, and are lost but destined to be found.

When I’m not writing, I am most likely listening to Reba McEntire on repeat or trying to come up with a tagline for what a Real House-Husband of Baltimore, Maryland would say.

Let’s follow each other!

Writing isn’t the Only Thing I love…

Favorite Music

I listen to literally everything, except for Heavy Metal. However, I love me a Pop Diva (Adele, Celine, Whitney, Cher, and the list goes on)

Favorite TV Show(s)

This is hard, because I LOVE television. Truly. You name it, I’ve watched it. But my favorite show ever is Ally McBeal. My favorite reality show is Big Brother.

Favorite Book(s)

I wouldn’t be a writer, if I wasn’t a reader first. Some of my favorites are: Room by Emma Donoghue, September House by Carissa Orlando, Every Single Secret by Emily Carpenter, A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by TJR, The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle, and Burn it All Down by Nicolas Didomizio.

Favorite Genre(s)

I love reading Fantasy, Psychological Thriller, Domestic Suspense, Romantic Comedies, and literally anything L-G-B-T-Q-Plus.

Favorite Food

Easy. My mom’s homemade meatloaf and mac-and-cheese.

Favorite Season

I love, love, love, Fall (Autumn). Halloween is my favorite holiday. I think yellow and orange trees are one of the most beautiful things ever. And it’s the start of Hot Chocolate season!
